A reminder that this Saturday, April 27th is our Spring Kick-Off Auction & Fundraiser.
This annual event rotates locations, and will be held on the south end of the Trail this year, at the Izaak Walton! With the devastating storms that passed through our area on Friday and more thunderstorms forecasted for Saturday, it's best to drive this year. We have collected a lot of great Auction Items, plenty of food, and lots of fun! Social hour will begin at 5:30, with Dinner starting at 6:30 and Live Auction starting at 7:30!
If you can't make it in person with us, we have another way for you to join in on the fun. The auction format will be a combination of online and live bidding - so you don't need to be present to win! This link 600m-rated professional model is designed with saturation diving in mind. link After 18 hours in the habitat, my body became saturated with link nitrogen (the body will on-gas to reach equilibrium at depth), therefore allowing me to experience my first saturation dive with the SBGH255 on my wrist.
I just want to mention Seiko and Staudt link here, as respectively Japanese and Dutch brands who link were joining the show. But from this point, I'll just continue with a few of the German novelties presented link especially at Munichtime.
Additional Movado casemakers to call out are Favre-Perret and C.R. Spillmann & Co. Perret was involved in the early development of Audemars Piguet's Royal Oak ref. 5402, working hand-in-hand link with Gérald Genta, and produced cases for Patek's ref. 3940, some Nautilus link 3700s, and later Ellipses. Spillmann was no slouch either, having produced some Rolex Oyster cases as link well as various work for Vacheron, AP, Universal, and more.
